Presentations are an everyday occurrence at almost any business. I’m sure a few who are reading this have sat in meetings huddled around an LCD projector sitting on the conference table entangled with cables, as the presenter points to a trapezoidal representation of a PowerPoint shining on a wall. The ability to effectively convey information to your clients and business partners is paramount. Hugh’s understands this and is prepared with a host of solutions and options to enhance, simplify and de-clutter any presentation or collaboration environment.
A presentation, or collaboration, environment could be an executive boardroom, seminar room, training room or conference room. The information being shared could be anything from a streaming video, DVD, multi-media PowerPoint presentation, company training video or almost anything else. We offer a wide selection of LCD displays, projectors and image surfaces from which to choose like Samsung, Hitachi, Digital Projection, Stewart Filmscreen and Da-lite. Our install team has the experience and training to setup these systems for maximum performance.
Given that multi-media presentations include audio as well as video, the audio portion of the installation can not be overlooked. Depending on the room and its acoustics, we will recommend the most appropriate speakers, amplifiers and processing that will ensure all participants can hear and understand what is being presented. Most applications can benefit from ceiling mounted speakers for full room involvement. Some may require point-source, surround sound or stereo arrangements.
When it comes to connectivity at the conference table, lectern, or workstation, we have that covered also. Table pockets from Extron or custom plates with connections for DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA, or almost anything else can be
provided. Under table cable management, retractable cords, power outlets and other connectivity accessories can be included for a complete solution.
When it comes to controlling these systems, there are options here as well. Some systems won’t need a full blown control system, some may require it due to sheer complexity. If superior control is the goal, Crestron is the choice. For simpler systems, perhaps a Prodigy Controller or a custom RTi remote will suffice.
