This college contracted us to handle all of their A/V needs. We provided Electronic Crestron classrooms, a game room, several audio systems, a library viewing room, student center audio & video systems, gym audio system, dance studio, MAC and PC labs , an Emergency Alert System and more, We started in the classroom with intuitive control of the rooms new projectors and source equipment. We then provided technology for lecture rooms and and other spaces. To help keep students and faculty aware of emergencies, we custom designed and produced a one-off Emergency Alert System which will allow important information to be broadcast from strategically placed microphones or secure access to the entire campus. That system is backed up with enough battery power to keep the system operational even in the event of extended power failure. Prior to our installations, the college had very little technology in a couple classrooms. Now they are fully equipped.
Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie, NY
When adding any technology to such a sensitive place as this, all care must be taken not to intrude upon the space.
Inside this mausoleum, background music is sometimes played to help the visitors be at peace as they visit their loved ones. We discretely hung a 360 degree dispersion speaker on aircraft cable so it did not detract from the environment and hid all cables and equipment out of view. The speaker practically disappears in the ceiling.
