Consultations are designed to provide information about specific elements of an A/V installation including wiring, product selection, feasibility assessments, installation methods, materials and cost. This service is offered separately from our other services but is included in installations we perform.
A consultation is an important and necessary step to providing a useful A/V system for your clients. The last thing that is wanted when building or remodeling is the lack of information leading to unintended, dangerous or unacceptable conditions . Design
Our design service is also aimed towards architects, A/V-IT Departments, colleges, universities, homeowners and general contractors as well. If you are contracting Hugh’s TV to perform your A/V installation, consultation and design are always included. However, like our consultation service, we offer design services separately.
As a consultation is important for making the right choices about which products and technology to use, design makes those products cohesive and functional as a system.
Hugh’s can design systems based on a specification or scope, as well as based on a previous consultation you may have had with us. We can produce CAD documents in a number of sizes including electronically. The design department creates full drawing sets including specs, schematics, elevations, detail and more for proposal, review and installation.
